Ikorodu lucky dube” Netizens slam Burna Boy for hinting at being bigger than Davido and Wizkid.

Afrobeat singer and self proclaimed African giant, Burna Boy had recently set the social media streets on fire for a commentary he made during his recent live concert.

The artist hinted at a hierarchy in the industry, revealing that he stands apart from the acclaimed “Big 3,” consisting of himself, Davido, and Wizkid. Concertgoers swiftly captured the moment in a viral video, fueling discussions across social media platforms.

“Next time anybody tells anything about the BIG 3 ehh, tell them, there’s only the BIG 2, then there’s Burna Boy”

Netizens wasted no time expressing their disapproval, especially the loyal fans of Wizkid and Davido.

One Mayos OJ minced no words, stating , “Burnaboy is proud and rude, but you guys don’t want to admit it. This Ikorodu Lucky Dube needs to take lessons in emotional intelligence before speaking on public issues.”

Another netizen known as TheVanessaOnly echoed similar sentiments, expressing in quotes, “I can’t date someone like Burnaboy; he talks too much.”

One GeneralAddo took a different stance, expressing , “Like him or hate him, he’s on a different level. Actually, he is the biggest Nigerian act right now. He might not be your typical humble Nigerian artist, but he’s still on top of the Big 2.” However, one Cynthia countered this claim, “Yes, he’s not part of the Big 2 because the Big 2 comprises Davido and Wizkid.”

Another fan known as Helen offered a reality check, “Five years ago, nobody even knew you, so please calm down.” On the international front, one Sahel defended Burna boy, remarking , “It is mostly in Nigeria that people talk shit about him. He’s very big internationally and has made himself stand out. You might not like him, but the fact remains that he is extremely talented.”

Another user named baldy_guy defended Davido and Wizkid , passionately sating, “Wizkid and Davido have been popping for long. You just started, and you think you are bigger.”
