We reported hours ago that Ayra Starr was being dragged online over her disrespect to Legendary singer, King Sunny Ade and Grammy singer, Burna Boy’s mother.
In a viral video, Ayra Starr who was in her unusual skimpy outfit could be seen in the same event as the two.
From the clip, Ayra Starr had snubbed Burna Boy’s mother as she greeted a woman sited closely to her. She went on to greet KSA by shaking his hands, something which many including actor Adeniyi Johnson and his wife, Seyi Edun found disrespectful.
Now taking to the micro-blogging platform Twitter, Ayra tendered a deep apology as she explained herself. She stated that the light didn’t let her see properly, but when she realized it, she came back to greet them.
She added that she has never been a disrespectful type and she is a proper Yoruba girl.
“I’m so sorry, I had just walked in and all the lights and nerves didn’t let me see but I came back around to greet everyone properly, I have never been that girl to be disrespectful, I’m a proper Yoruba girl and the video didn’t start until after I’d greeted burna’s mom! I’m very sorry to the legend, uncle, and King Sunny Ade”.
