Nollywood actress, Toyin Alausa has broken down in tears on Instagram over her financial situation.
The movie star, in a lengthy post on her Instagram page, revealed how the viral video of a Hollywood actress crying over her financial situation and her low pay in the industry, also touched her.
Toyin recounted how she got so emotional and overwhelmed a few days back on her way from work and she was drained and exhausted from a series of jobs she has been on, yet when she looked at her account balance, the math was matching.
She questioned herself about where the figures went to throughout the year and wept for herself. She stated that most of them in Nollywood don’t have extra support other than what they earn and yet they still extend love to family and friends.
Alausa added that it’s unreasonable for anyone to assume that screen life is the same as Real life and expect someone like her to live the facade some people live.
Though she is grateful for the numerous blessings money can’t buy that are bestowed on her, she looks forward to when her hard work will match her reward.
