Jamb sent 249, Ussd showed me 360, Mmesoma reveals

 

The Anambra State student, Mmesoma Ejikeme who was accused of manually inflating her 2023 UTME result by the joint admissions and matriculation Board on Wednesday had confirmed that she received an automated text messages from Jamb indicating that her score was 249 either of 360.

She reveals this during an interview with Sunrise Daily on Channels Television. 

The jamb spokesman, Fabian Benjamin revealed that the candidate sent a series of messages to the board's automated telecoms system, including the results showing an aggregate of 360.

 Mmesoma said "that the only sms she sent to JAMB was through their support system and that's the only sms I sent there".

She was asked if she got any feedback from JAMB after she sent messages to them, she said " they didn't reply, and if they check their jamb support system they would see that I sent a text message.

She was asked that which network communication she is using, and she replied: am using Airtel line but she added that it was not through used code she saw 249.

She explained further that, " jamb showed her score through message as 249 and the one she checked through ussd showed her 360. And I sent them a text message there to know what really happened but they didn't reply my text, she said.
