Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose meets President-Elect, Bola Tinubu, in his Lagos residence today. 

The former Governor of Ekiti State, Peter Ayodele Fayose has met with the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his Lagos Residence today. The media aide to the former Governor, Lere Olayinka made this known today on his verified Facebook page.

Lere Olayinka said; "Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose meets President-Elect, Bola Tinubu, in his Lagos residence today".

Recall that Peter Ayodele Fayose supported the presidential ambition of former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu before the general elections. He was one of the Peoples Democratic party chieftains who did not support the presidential ambition of their party's flagbearer, former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress later defeated Atiku Abubakar and other strong contenders including Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party in the election held on the 25th of February, 2013 to clinch the apex political seat in the country.
