Two African countries have written to the World football body, FIFA demanding replays of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers playoffs.
The two African countries are Algeria and Egypt.
The Algerian Football Federation stated in their appeal to FIFA that they were not convinced by the manner in which the Gambian referee, Bakary Gassama officiated the game between Algeria and Cameroon.
The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon defeated Algeria by two goals to one.
Also, the Egyptian Football Federation has stated that they were going to ask the football governing body, FIFA to have their game against Senegal replayed.
They believed that the match against Senegal was held in a strange atmosphere. They stated that they would have congratulated Senegal if the game was played in a normal condition.
